Colour outside the guidelines
It’s time to fall in love with greige. Yes greige! Greige (that’s grey and beige) is the season’s hottest colour for nails and it comes in many different shades! Paint on a dark violet greige look for a night on the town, or go for a rosy greige for brunch with the parents, and for date night, try more of a chocolaty greige that will most definitely have heads turning! But if you’re more of a colour fan, go for bold and beautiful colours of the rainbow! Reds, blues, yellows, teals and pinks!
If your face is feeling a little blah, then the perfect way to brighten your day is to update your make-up stash! Fall 2010 is full of looks that enhance your already beautiful face, but if you’re feeling like you need a colour boost you can try some mauve or violet eye shadow, pink blush for your cheeks, or pick out a lip stain that’s a perfect accent to your look! Try a bold coral, a soft peach, or deep plum for lips that shout “Hello!”
And now that summer is coming to an end, it’s time to wash up those beach waves and find your flat iron, because long, straight and slightly messy with a centre part is back in style. It’s shiny and sleek, and is making a come-back! And if you don’t have long hair there’s no need to worry, the short pixie cut is back with a bang! Short all around with longer pieces on top... think an adaption of Audrey Hepburn or Twiggy. Brunette or blonde, it’s up to you!
